Project and Planning Engineer

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of bidding schedules for new projects.
• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare project reports, including S-Curve, manpower histogram, earned manhours reports, and other project control reports.
• Monitor project manhours utilization and support budget control activities.
• Generate and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for project activities.
• Track project progress and provide timely reminders and updates to project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, HR, Accounting, HSE, and other departments on planning-related matters.
• Attend daily, weekly, and monthly project meetings with Clients, PMT, and internal project teams.
• Analyze productivity, efficiency, and manhours performance to support project execution.
• Support HR, Accounting, and HSE teams by providing manpower statistics and project reports when required.
• Ensure project schedules and reporting are maintained accurately and updated regularly.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Project Planning, Project Controls, Scheduling, or Project Engineering.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Fabrication, Manufacturing, Construction, or EPC projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, manpower planning, budgeting, and progress reporting.
• Familiarity with project reporting tools such as S-Curve, Histograms, WBS, and Manhour Tracking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or other project planning software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
• Experience attending client meetings and project progress reviews is an advantage.
