<\/span>Programme Overview<\/span><\/b> <\/span>

Peepul is actively engaged in a FLN (Foundational Literacy and\n Numeracy) focused Development Impact Bond (DIB), which spans a 5\-year\n period and covers four zones within the Municipal Corporation of Delhi\n (MCD). The project commenced with a learning year (Academic Year\n 2022\-23), followed by four years of outcome\-based funding (Academic\n Year 2023\-24 onwards). The project entails the systematic\n implementation of academic, governance, and technology reforms\n targeted at bolstering assessments in the Central and West zones.<\/span>

Over these five years, Peepul will build the systemic understanding\n and competency in implementing high\-quality student\-learning focused\n assessments. This will be done by reviewing existing practices,\n co\-creating Standard Operating Protocols for conducting highquality\n assessments, conducting training for teachers & officials, etc.<\/span>

The role of the <\/span>Project Associate/Senior Project Associate \- DIB on Assessment\n Reforms<\/span><\/b> is critical to the success of the continued partnership\n with erstwhile MCD towards achieving quality education for all, and\n to Peepul\u2019s strategic objective of supporting quality improvement in\n the public school system in India.<\/span>

This is therefore an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated\n individual to play a key role in a flagship reform initiative with\n enormous potential impact. To enable programme\u2019s success, we are\n required to rapidly roll\-out and scale our support to reach all\n teachers officials in the MCD. <\/span>

The <\/span>Project Associate/Senior Project Associate<\/span><\/b> will be an excellent team player, who\n will drive design and delivery of interventions towards stronger\n support and accountability of teachers and academic officials of the MCD. The ideal candidate should be able to bring together education\n expertise, creative problem\-solving and stakeholder management,<\/b> towards the creation, implementation, and impact tracking of\n high\-quality initiatives towards improvement of the quality of\n education in the MCD. <\/span>

<\/span>To support the design and delivery of the DIB \u2013 Assessment\n Reforms project and build a coalition of support around them.<\/span><\/b> <\/span>

\u2022 Support the instructional design of FLN based training content,\n including the creation of engaging, need\-based, relevant, and rigorous\n training modules<\/b> for teachers, School Leaders and other stakeholders.<\/span>

\u2022 Design high quality needs\-assessment and post training\n assessments to track the impact of the capacity building\n interventions.<\/b> <\/span>

\u2022 Build consensus within all levels of government and other\n stakeholders, towards the vision and objectives of the programme <\/span>
<\/span><\/div>

\u2022 Apply content knowledge and classroom experience in developing\n the interventions that will lead to shifts in teacher mindset,\n knowledge, and practice <\/span>

\u2022 Support the program manager in implementing the pilot of\n interventions, documenting learning, and evolving the design to have\n greater impact at scale<\/span>

\u2022 Plan and sequence the implementation of Training modules for\n teachers in close coordination with the Program manager <\/span>

\u2022 Design and facilitate training sessions for teachers, school\n leaders and other key stakeholders.

\u2022 Conduct classroom observation to understand the impact of the\n trainings on ground and drive an effective implementation of the\n learnings of training<\/b> through sharing feedback to the teachers<\/span>
