The Opportunity
As an ITB Project Controls Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in shaping delivery across major engineering programmes. You’ll bring clarity to cost, schedule and performance data – supporting informed decision-making that keeps projects moving forward with confidence.
EDF EPR Engineering UK delivers the design for nuclear island buildings, systems, and equipment for Hinkley Point C and similar projects. Working as part of an integrated team, EPR Engineering supports construction and commissioning while preparing design-replication feasibility and related engineering activities.
You’ll join us on a salary starting of £48,000 per annum. This is a hybrid role based in our #Bristol office, with a minimum of two days on-site each week, increasing to three. The remaining days can be remote or from another office location where suitable.
Working within a collaborative project environment, you’ll support delivery teams by managing forecasts, tracking progress and resolving challenges. Your work will directly support our journey towards An Electric Britain, helping deliver reliable, low-carbon energy infrastructure.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Project Controls Coordinator or Project Management professional who thrives in delivery-focused environments, brings structure to complex programmes and communicates clearly with stakeholders. Are you experienced in…?
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects end-to-end within controlled environments such as engineering, MOD or agency delivery
- Advanced use of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Word and Project for tracking and reporting
- Managing project cost control, forecasting and performance analysis across multiple workstreams
- Supporting scheduling activities and aligning deliverables to project timelines and KPIs
- Working with cross-functional teams to track progress, resolve issues and meet delivery milestones
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing cost control processes including forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking
- Supporting scheduling and coordination of engineering deliverables against project timelines
- Monitoring KPIs and providing insight into risks, changes and delivery performance
- Collaborating with project teams to resolve blockers and maintain delivery momentum
- Producing clear reporting and updates for stakeholders and senior project managers
