Job Description\:
The role is focused on providing effective Project Monitoring and Control in line with the Project Control System (PCS), ensuring that both time and cost outcomes are clearly understood, anticipated, and positively influenced.
It plays a key part in helping project teams stay on track, identify risks early, and drive successful outcomes through communication and collaboration.
In addition, the position includes people management responsibilities, offering the opportunity to lead, support, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
Core duties\:
- Leading and managing a team of Project Controllers
- Reporting to Contract Teams
- Establishing and managing the project schedules
- Controlling project costs
- Implementing and utilising Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
- Supporting the identification and management of risks and opportunities
- Analysing project information to enable early identification of problems and then implementing mitigation actions
- Driving ownership and managing change of the work scope tasks throughout the project team
Essential Skills\:
- Experience creating and maintaining project schedules using toolsets such as MSP, Open Plan or P6
- Experience applying Earned Value Management techniques
- Experience of risk, opportunity and change management
- Strong analytical and reporting skills to enable key decisions to be made effectively
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience of developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relations
