Role Overview


The Project Coordinator, Glazing supports the Project Manager across the full lifecycle of commercial and residential glazing projects, from preconstruction through to close-out. You will help track budgets and schedules, organize submittals and shop drawings, manage project documentation, and keep communication moving between clients, general contractors, site supervisors, and suppliers. This is a development role, and the work is set up so you learn how a glazing project runs end to end with the goal of stepping into a Project Manager role within one to three years. What You Bring to the Table


Technical Skills

• One to four years of experience in construction project coordination, administration, or a related support role; glazing or building envelope experience is an asset but not required

• Comfortable reading architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings, or a clear willingness to learn

• Working knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore, or strong general software skills and the ability to pick it up quickly

• Solid skills in Excel and Microsoft Office for tracking budgets, schedules, and project documentation

• Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field is an asset

Duties & Responsibilities


• Support the Project Manager across the full lifecycle of commercial and residential glazing projects, from award through to close-out

• Maintain project documentation including submittals, shop drawings, product data sheets, and project correspondence

• Help build and update project schedules, and flag sequencing or timing issues to the Project Manager early

• Track project costs against the approved budget and assist with purchase orders and variance reporting

• Coordinate the RFI and change order process by logging items, chasing responses, and keeping records current

• Communicate with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and site supervisors to keep information moving on the project

• Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules with suppliers to support installation sequencing

• Attend site visits with the Project Manager and site supervisors to learn how installation, quality, and safety are managed in the field

• Prepare project status updates and reports for the Project Manager and division leadership

• Assist with close-out activities including deficiency tracking, final inspections, and documentation handover to the client
