Project Development Engineer

Work4u International is seeking for a Project Development Engineer, on behalf of its client, a dynamic technical company active in a wide range of engineering projects.

The candidate will lead site selection and technical due diligence, conduct spatial assessments, and manage end-to-end permitting processes for RES and infrastructure projects, ensuring full regulatory compliance and timely approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identification and evaluation of suitable land plots for project development
• Review of spatial planning (zoning) constraints
• Understanding of building regulations and permitting restrictions per area
• Spatial analysis using GIS tools
• Preparation of technical drawings (layouts, floor plans, single-line diagrams)
• Preparation of topographical drawings
• Management of the permitting process – communication with public authorities and regulatory bodies
• Preparation and submission of permitting documentation related to the construction of RES (Renewable Energy Sources) projects and, ideally, building projects / Data Centers
• Timeline management to ensure timely completion of permitting procedures

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (University / Technological Institute)
• 3+ years of experience in permitting process management within a technical/engineering company
• Proficiency in GIS software and AutoCAD
• Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
