Project Engineer
Project Engineers are responsible for managing the lifecycle of engineering projects, which includes planning, execution, and handover. Typical duties include:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with objectives and client expectations.
- Technical Oversight: Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using CAD software and other tools, and ensure technical compliance with standards and regulations.
- Team Management: Delegate tasks to team members based on skills and experience, coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers, and monitor performance to ensure efficient project completion.
- Budget and Resource Management: Track project costs, manage expenditures, forecast budgets, and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
- Risk Assessment and Compliance: Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and ensure projects comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, report progress to stakeholders, and participate in final testing, commissioning, and handover processes
