Project Engineer (ACMV)
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing overall project progress, manpower planning, and monitoring of project schedules
- Prepare engineering design details and technical documentation where required
- Conduct testing & commissioning and perform basic troubleshooting of ACMV systems
- Ensure project milestones and completion timelines are met
- Coordinate day‑to‑day site activities with main contractors, sub‑contractors, and relevant stakeholders
- Plan, prepare, and arrange site inspections with the main contractor or RTO
- Manage resource allocation and submit daily work progress updates and manpower forecasts
- Monitor, request, and follow up on equipment and material deliveries
- Ensure all equipment, materials, and site works comply with project specifications and standards
- Prepare, submit, and secure approval for MOS, RA, SWP, shop drawings, materials, equipment, RFA, RFI, and other required documents
- Attend technical meetings, daily site progress meetings, and safety meetings
- Prepare O&M manuals, As‑Built drawings, training materials, and DLP documentation
- Apply knowledge of ACMV/HVAC systems in daily operations
- Ensure compliance with WSH and ESH regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- ITE / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in managing ACMV projects for industrial or commercial developments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with good problem‑solving, coordination, and project management abilities
