Project Engineer


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, design and day to day running of foundation/geotechnical engineering projects
  • Preparation of design calculations and technical drawings for the projects
  • Determine operation requirements and to assist Project Manager in preparing schedule
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and/or consultants for the execution of works
  • Liaise with external vendors for submission or relevant documents to authorities when required
  • Attend site meetings and facilitate subsequent communication to project team members and to resolve technical/operational issues
  • Update project records for reporting purposes and submission of reports
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with schedule
  • Follow safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate hazards at the workplace
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager relating to project execution

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a PE Board recognized university
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and have a passion in foundation/ geotechnical engineering works
  • Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
  • Meticulous, organised and proactive
  • Willing to work on construction sites and prepared to travel across different construction sites to monitor progress of different projects
  • Able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
