Project Engineer
- Support installation, startup, and commissioning of UPW, reclaim, and wastewater systems
- Provide on-site engineering support to construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with design intent
- Troubleshoot process, mechanical, and system integration issues during commissioning and early operations
- Respond to RFIs and field technical questions, coordinating with engineering teams as needed
- Review field changes, redlines, and as-built conditions to ensure consistency with design documents
- Serve as the primary local technical interface with the customer during project execution and post-project support
- Deliver after-sales support including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and minor system modifications
- Coordinate with internal teams to execute system improvements, upgrades, and expansion efforts
- Support preparation and review of engineering deliverables such as equipment specifications, P&IDs, layouts, and vendor submittals
- Provide field feedback to enhance constructability and standardization of designs
- Maintain accurate project documentation and support knowledge transfer to engineering standards
- Apply established engineering standards, procedures, and safety practices in all work
- Location: Boise, Idaho
- Primary work site: Customer site with office support from the Boise Support Center
- Travel: Periodic travel to Plano, Texas or other project sites for several weeks at a time
- B.S. degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- 3–8+ years of experience in project engineering, construction support, or commissioning of industrial water systems
- Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments
- Experience with AutoCAD Plant3D or similar tools
- Working knowledge of UPW, reclaim, or industrial wastewater treatment systems
- Familiarity with process equipment including pumps, pressure vessels, valves, and piping systems
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, layouts, and technical specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a field environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
