Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Able to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately
• Previous experience in the building construction field is advantageous but not mandatory
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Use of Autocad would be an advantage
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Tasks & responsibilities

• Study on contract requirements, planning, and execution of project schedules.
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution.
• To prepare method statements, risk assessment, progress report and technical submissions.
• To work at site and arrange manpower, materials for project daily.
• To supervise the construction works and coordinate / attend meeting with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on project and technical matters.
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard.
• Other ad-hoc duties when assigned.
