Project Engineer (MEP)
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Technical Coordination
- Review and coordinate MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Work closely with internal design teams, consultants, and BIM teams to resolve technical issues and ensure design intent is maintained.
- Identify potential design conflicts and propose engineering solutions to support constructability.
Project & Site Management
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
- Monitor MEP construction progress and ensure works are completed according to project schedule and approved drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of MEP works.
Data Centre Infrastructure
- Support the implementation of critical MEP systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire protection systems.
- Ensure all MEP installations meet data centre operational requirements and reliability standards.
- Assist in system integration and coordination of critical infrastructure for mission-critical facilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with MEP systems including HVAC, electrical power distribution, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to review technical drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
