Overview:
The Project Engineer I will play a key role in supporting project management activities, including project planning, design coordination, procurement, and construction oversight. Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Assist project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to facilitate project execution and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Design Support and Review:

Review project drawings, specifications, and design documents to identify potential issues, conflicts, or discrepancies, and collaborate with design teams to resolve technical challenges.

Assist in the coordination of structural steel design and detailing activities, including review of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans.

Procurement and Material Management:

Support procurement activities, including material take-offs, vendor inquiries, and purchase order processing, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment for projects.

Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to expedite delivery of materials, resolve material-related issues, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Construction Oversight and Quality Assurance:

Assist in construction oversight activities, including site visits, inspections, and coordination with construction teams to monitor progress, resolve field issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections of structural steel components, ensuring compliance with fabrication and erection requirements, industry standards, and regulatory codes.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including project files, drawings, specifications, and correspondence, ensuring completeness, organization, and accessibility of project records.

Prepare and distribute project reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes to project teams, stakeholders, and management, providing timely and relevant information on project status, issues, and risks.
