Project Engineer – Job Description

A Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Ensure all works comply with safety standards and regulations
  • Manage project budgets, materials, and resources
  • Attend site meetings and provide technical support
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates
  • Ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements

A) Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) is preferred
  • Candidates with or without experience are welcome to apply (for junior roles)
  • Relevant project/site experience is an advantage


B) Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Familiar with software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, etc.
