We are seeking qualified applicants for the position:

Project Engineer, Owner Furnished Equipment

Located:

Houston

Description: Interface with technical directors, engineering managers, discipline engineers of OFE partners and act as the Venture Global main technical entry point. Ensure that OFE projects are executed with highest design standards and promote and manage actions at engineering level that enhance design quality (i.e. design reviews, 3rd Party Consultancy). Apply best industry project management practices to OFE projects, deploying effective and sustainable methodologies for scheduling, cost and risk management of the technical scope. Oversee the deployment of OFE technical resources deployment and regularly review with OFE technical directors expected workload, skills and capabilities. Coordinate the Venture Global engineering team assigned to the OFE projects and liaise with Venture Global discipline engineers and discipline lead managers. Involve internal Subject Matter Experts based on project’s needs. Act as technical partner of Venture Global OFE project managers for regular project execution, and assist them in scope refinement, cost estimating, development of project design specifications of OFE scope of supply. Continuously oversee engineering interfaces between EPC and actively manage OFE teams for resolution of critical pending actions. Support installation, commissioning, start up and performance test activities of OFE systems. Ensure systems are complete and pre-requisites have been completed. Coordinate with all interfaces and stakeholders (i.e. operation, maintenance) at Venture Global facilities as required. Influence decisions that improve reliability and operability of OFE systems, reduce operating costs, and create a sustainable competitive advantage. Interact with operation and warranty teams to manage actions requiring OFE technical team involvement. 25% domestic travel required.
