Project Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the review of secondary distribution P&ID / MLD construction drawings and be responsible for pre-construction site inspections.
Responsible for the control and coordination of construction site materials procurement and allocation, including hardware, argon gas, piping materials, and fittings.
Responsible for construction progress control, including monitoring daily work completion by contractors and consolidating daily work progress data.
Responsible for construction quality inspections, including pipeline alignment and leveling, compliance with drawings, pipe clamps, flow direction labels, weld inspection, and assessing whether additional supports/brackets are required.
Responsible for inspection and control of engineering quality to ensure construction work complies with relevant standards.
Assist the Project Manager in completing other ad-hoc tasks and assignments.
Job Requirements:Diploma or above in Engineering or other related technical disciplines.
Relevant experience in construction management for hook-up / secondary distribution systems such as PCW, Pumping Line, EXH, Chemical Systems, etc., will be an advantage.
Candidates with 2 years or more of practical construction experience and familiarity with at least one secondary distribution system construction workflow are preferred.
Fresh graduates with a strong interest in engineering and project management are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other construction personnel.
Able to work under pressure and handle demanding project environments.
Willing to travel and work at project sites when required
