JOB SUMMARY
  • Assist Project Managers with construction design changes, progress, and updates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or similar field) or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in electrical construction is preferred.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Must have a working knowledge of job cost tracking.
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules.
  • Computer skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules.
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of document controls.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Track construction contract design changes and updates
  • Track project construction progress in addition to tracking job costs
  • Read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules
  • Coordinate design changes within construction team
  • Assist with preparation of change orders and maintenance of project change order logs
  • Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule
  • Assist with development and maintenance of submittals log and RFI logs
  • Assist with project submittals and submit written RFIs to client
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

This position is an on-site position located near Smithville, MO. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
