You will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to technical documentation, analysis, reviews and project deliverables
  • Working collaboratively with engineers, technical specialists, Defence stakeholders and industry partners
  • Building your understanding of nuclear capability, including safety, assurance and regulatory considerations

Our Ideal Candidate:

You’re an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and wants to contribute to nationally significant Defence capability. You bring a strong technical foundation, curiosity and a willingness to learn in a highly specialised environment.

You will bring:

  • An undergraduate degree in engineering (required)
  • Experience working in engineering roles, ideally within Defence, maritime, infrastructure or another high-assurance environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex challenges
  • Exposure to, or a genuine interest in, nuclear capability, nuclear safety, assurance or naval capability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn from experienced technical specialists

Having these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory):

  • Nuclear experience or qualifications, including NSQEP credentials
  • Experience supporting naval, submarine, maritime or other complex Defence programs
  • Familiarity with engineering assurance, systems engineering, safety management or regulatory environments

As we are a Defence consultancy, you must also have the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance.
