YRGMERF\nis anticipating a project to strengthen the Urban Ecosystem Against Future\nDisease Threats by implementing a framework for urban\-peri\-urban coordination.\nThis project if commissioned will require a team of below positions to support\nthe coordination, implementation and monitoring of several components.<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

The\nProject Lead will be responsible for supporting the team in implementing the\nproject activities, coordination with stakeholders, oversight of the\nactivities. Will report to Chief Operating Officer based at Chennai. Will work\nclosely with State Surveillance Officer, City Coordinator, State Data Quality\nAssurance Officer and other team members.<\/span><\/span>

Strategic Direction and Planning<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Translates the approved project work plan into\nmonthly operational plans with clear milestones, task assignments, and\ndeadlines for key stakeholders<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Conducts monthly and quarterly strategic reviews of\nproject progress against the approved timeline and recommend course corrections<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Government and Stakeholder Coordination<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p>

    • Establishes and maintain\nworking relationships with key stakeholders, receive their timely inputs and\nalign with the priorities so that the resources are optimised.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Attends or deputes\nrepresentation at the coordination meetings including timely submission of\nreports to the donor, stakeholders.<\/span><\/span>

      Team Management and Quality Assurance<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/p>

      • Directly supervises the\ndesignated staff, address bottlenecks, and provide guidance<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Works closely with the\nsubject experts to ensure that the activities are implemented and monitored as\nper the specific action plans.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Reviews performance, guide\nsuitably and provide support to improve. Carry out team meetings to share their\nlearnings among each other.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Conducts field visit to\nobserve field operations first\-hand, interact with local stakeholders<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Ensures that all project\nactivities comply with YRGMERF\u2019s organisational policies on ethics,\nsafeguarding, data protection, and financial management.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

        Reporting and Documentation<\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/span><\/p>

        • Prepares and submits monthly\nand quarterly narrative progress reports in the prescribed format<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Ensures that the data\nquality checks are performed by the team before the reports are sent out<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Supports in documentation of\nthe project activities and share with the stakeholders in a timely manner<\/span><\/span>

              Masters in Public Health or similar\ncourses in Public Health with minimum 8 years' experience in managing\nmulti\-stakeholder large scale project under NUHM, Urban Health Project, Disease\nSurveillance, One Health Activities in Karnataka. Preference will be given to\nlocal candidates who understands and have worked in Karnataka Health Systems.<\/span><\/span>
