Project Management - DNOX components - Assistant Manager

The purpose of this position is to plan, execute and lead deliverables of customer project in component engineering to meet identified requirements and deliver necessary work packages within agreed parameters of quality, cost and timeline

  • Estimate and plan component level projects cost, resources. Identify &manage project risks, develop contingency plans.
  • Review project progress, identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Lead and drive Engineering Product Quality & Preventive Quality management processes by using Bosch Engineering System & problem solving techniques.
  • Supervise innovation management processes to generate new ideas and to solve current product / customer concerns.
  • customer specific QCD topics to the PRC / BU management to seek appropriate interventions / decisions.
  • Assess the technical evaluation of design changes and provide technical consultation to customer teams & Discuss with international development network and plants.
  • Lead and drive project management processes adhering to regulations and compliance to fulfil customer project specifications with the agreed budget and timeline.

Education: Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial and Automotive)* PMP certification (desirable)

Experience: 2 -5 years of minimum experience in Project management related to IC engine components

Competency requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of internal combustion engines and connected systems
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing, quality and procurement process of auto components
  • Advanced knowledge on auto component lifecycle management processes
  • Advanced knowledge on engineering drawings, geometrical design and tolerance
  • Competent skills in BES methodology and tools Viz FMEA, DRBFM, Focus analysis and 8D
  • Competent skills in project management
  • Basics of Bosch management review processes
  • Basic of interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced problem solving skills
