Project Planning

  • Facilitation of team planning sessions to agree plans, milestones, deliverables and both, inter and intra-programme dependencies
  • Provide assistance to the project teams in setting goals and planning the day-to-day activities
  • Development and maintenance of detailed activity-based project plans and resource requirements using MS Project or other pc-based applications as appropriate

Project Tracking

  • Close liaison with various project teams across M&G Plc to establish an accurate view of project progress
  • Review and assessment of reports to identify progress against plans
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the identification of risks and issues arising from project teams and maintenance of appropriate project records and RAID logs etc.
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the identification and effective management of project dependencies across the programme
  • Reinforcing prescribed governance and good practice and enforcing/tracking quality assurance of deliverables prior to sign-off

Project Monitoring and Reporting

  • Preparation of weekly and monthly team status reports to describe progress achieved and identify risks and issues for escalation as appropriate
  • Assistance with preparation of monthly reports for stakeholders as required
  • Preparation of project documentation

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Organise training sessions for new joiners
  • Resolve any issue, grievances reported by PM’s w.r.t ServiceNow
  • Provide automated consolidated tracker of time efforts, if required Projects
  • Chase, follow up PM’s and Projects for closure, goods acceptance etc.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills (Must Have) :

  • Confidence & excellent communication

• Knowledge of project management lifecycle methodology

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills

  • Tools like ServiceNow, Oracle etc.

Knowledge & Skills (Additional) :

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and establishing professional rapport

• Good negotiating skills

• Good problem-solving skills

  • Commercial awareness and third party management capability

Experience:

  • Proven working experience of minimum 8 years leading small size projects

• Experienced in working with international stakeholders preferably from UK

• Experience of managing projects involving Application Management/Infrastructure/Finance domain

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred but not required)
  • PRINCE II certification is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Any Microsoft cloud certifications is a plus
  • Investment Banking related certifications is a plus
