Project Manager
Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to manage projects and programs and build business with existing clients. This position could reside at one of BE’s offices or at a client facility.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Lead for developing project execution plans for managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
- Manage the project team and ensure compliance with client, project, and internal standards and goals
- Manage and report on project resources assigned by the Discipline Department Managers
- Manage and report on project budget and progress
- Primary point of communication between BE and the Client and all contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc.
- Business Development
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve and expand business with existing clients
- Develop proposals and estimates
- Build client relationships between the Client Team and BE Team
- Understand client trends and needs, coordinate with BE Management
- Understand BE services and communicate with the client
- Support business development activities
- Other
- Report on project status, financial status, issues, opportunities, and risks
- Internal coordination on project resources across departments and other projects.
- Advance company goals and objectives
- Mentor project and discipline engineers and other project team members
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferred) |
|
Min Yr = 10 Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects preferred |
|
Background in project development and execution for the oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, and manufacturing industries |
|
Experienced in leading the commercial interface with clients, and leading internal teams for project/program execution. |
|
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects. |
