Project Manager

Job Description:

Role involves managing production issues with first level support for issues, coordinating with developers for break fixes, tracking progress of issues as they are worked, keeping the production issue database up to date with the current status and root cause when resolved, and tracking recovery efforts after fixes are installed.

Must be organized, self directed, able to manage multiple tasks and progress them in parallel with some supervision.

Work with Infrastructure Manager to clearly outline next steps, track due dates, and follow up with business partners.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task with some autonomy and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to keep all stakeholders current with progress of issues effectively ∙
  • Some knowledge of SQL including the ability to read through logs to find errors to advise on level of support.
  • Must be results oriented and a motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability and willingness to work in challenging situations with aggressive timelines. • Meticulous attention to detail ∙
  • Experience with data analysis to resolve production issues, preferably working in a technical environment.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry – credit card experience is a plus.
