Project Manager (Construction/Civil Engineering)

Our client, an established player in Singapore's construction and civil engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution and delivery of construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, budgeting, stakeholder management, and site operations while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the full project lifecycle from planning and execution through to completion and handover.

* Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project execution strategies.

* Monitor project progress to ensure milestones are achieved within established timelines and budgets.

* Manage project costs, procurement activities, subcontractors, and project resources effectively.

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and subcontractors on project-related matters.

* Review engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.

* Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimise delays and cost overruns.

* Ensure all works comply with contractual requirements, quality standards, and statutory regulations.

* Prepare project reports, progress updates, claims, and management reports.

* Lead project meetings and provide direction to engineers, supervisors, and site teams.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

* Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and environmental regulations.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

* Minimum 6 years of relevant project management experience within Singapore's construction industry.

* Proven experience managing construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.

* Experience handling projects valued at SGD 50 million and above will be highly advantageous.

* Strong understanding of project management, contract administration, and construction methodologies.

* Experience with LTA, PUB, HDB, or public-sector projects will be an added advantage.

* Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applications.

* Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Candidates available immediately or on short notice will be preferred.
