Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring adherence to scope and timelines.
- Analyze and review drawings, site requirements, and project scope to inform planning and execution.
- Develop detailed project schedules and monitor site progress to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, factory, and site teams to coordinate project activities.
- Participate in site meetings and proactively resolve site issues to maintain project momentum.
- Organize site measurements, delivery logistics, installation processes, and rectification works to ensure quality outcomes.
- Inspect workmanship to verify compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of variation works, site activities, and project updates for transparent reporting.
- Enforce site safety protocols, maintain housekeeping standards, and facilitate smooth project handovers.
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in renovation, carpentry, interior fit-out, or construction.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and understand site works.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through managing multiple projects independently.
- Responsible and organized work approach with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Class 3 driving licence (advantageous for site visits and logistics coordination).
