Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting pre-sales activities and leading the execution of Laboratory Asset Management and Laboratory Relocation projects. This role works closely with customers, suppliers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, customer satisfaction, and business growth. The successful candidate will proactively manage project risks and challenges, drive project acceptance and financial closure, and identify opportunities to expand service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pre-sales activities including customer requirements gathering, site surveys, solution development, proposal preparation, and presentations.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Laboratory Asset Management and Laboratory Relocation projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive project progress and resolve issues.
  • Proactively address project challenges and unexpected situations to maintain project momentum and delivery commitments.
  • Drive project acceptance, closeout activities, and support timely invoicing and payment collection.
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for project expansion and additional services.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and maintain complete project documentation and records.
  • Support business priorities and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Project Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in laboratory services, laboratory relocation, laboratory operations, asset management, or related fields preferred.
  • Technical background in analytical instruments, laboratory operations, or scientific services preferred.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage challenges and drive projects through completion, customer acceptance, and financial closure.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within China.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing laboratory relocation or asset management projects.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales activities and customer solution development.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, CRO/CDMO, academic, or research environments.
  • Strong customer-facing and business development capabilities.
