Duties and Responsibilities of Project Manager for Solar Photovoltaic Project

- Analyze client’s needs, designing of solar installations and optimizing system layouts using appropriate tools

- Manage utility scale battery energy storage system integration

- Identify potential technical, financial and environmental risks and implementing mitigation strategies

- Ensure project comply to statutory regulations, environmental standards and safety codes

- Ensure project expenses are within project budget

- Lead team of engineers, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and smooth project execution and completion

- Oversees the engineering, procurement and construction activities while at the same time ensuring compliance with project specifications

- Oversees the system testing, commissioning and performance validation

Skills and requirements

- Must possess minimum 10 years of practical experience with in-depth understanding of photovoltaic systems, solar technologies and renewable energy principles

- Good leadership to coordinate with cross functional teams, negotiate with partners, stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure the successful deployment of the project from conception to completion

- Possess a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewal Energy or a related field
