What are we looking for<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/h1>

We seek a dynamic professional with 4\-5 years of experience to lead our<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Gender and Inclusion projects<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>. This role involves working closely with <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>our government partners<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> (senior bureaucrats, ministries and various departments), industry experts and multilateral institutions, as well as managing a multidisciplinary internal team of technologists, data strategists, domain experts, designers and researchers, to ensure high\-quality execution of impact\-driven projects.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

In this role, you will be giving 25% of your time towards exploring new project opportunities and supporting scaling or expansion of initiatives, 65% towards managing and implementing ongoing projects, and the remaining 10% on broader organisational responsibilities. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Lead end\-to\-end project planning and execution for gender and inclusion\-focused initiatives, from kickoff to closure<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Scope project requirements with partners, ensuring integration of gender\-responsive and inclusive approaches<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and trackers (e.g., ClickUp), and monitor milestones and deliverables<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Coordinate across internal teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and outputs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Facilitate project onboarding, including knowledge transfer (KT) sessions and clear definition of roles and responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Identify potential risks and bottlenecks, particularly related to stakeholder alignment or inclusion gaps, and plan mitigation strategies<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Support initiative expansion through writing proposals, applications, concept notes, etc. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Stakeholder Engagement & Representation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

    • Act as the primary point of contact for project coordination and communication<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Manage onboarding, regular updates, and consultations with stakeholders at state and national levels<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Work closely with internal teams, domain experts, and partners to ensure clarity on expectations and deliverables<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Oversee day\-to\-day project implementation, ensuring timely and high\-quality delivery of outputs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Track progress across workstreams using agile tools; organise regular check\-ins, stand\-ups, and review meetings<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Ensure integration of gender and inclusion considerations in project outputs, including use of disaggregated data and inclusive indicators where relevant<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • 4\u20135 years of experience in project management within development, public policy, public health, or related sectors<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

          • Experience working with government stakeholders and managing multi\-partner projects<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

          • Strong understanding of project planning, execution, budgeting, and reporting<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

          • Familiarity with gender and inclusion concepts, and ability to integrate them into project delivery<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • Working knowledge of data systems, digital tools, or AI/data\-driven governance is an advantage<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • Proficiency in tools such as ClickUp, G\-Suite, Slack, and collaborative documentation platforms<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

            CivicDataLab is based out of Delhi and has the presence of project teams located in Assam and Himachal Pradesh. We follow a hybrid model where our bandhus work out of the office for a minimum of 16 days per month (i.e, 4 days a week). We use open\-source tools and agile methodologies in organising our work. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
