Position Summary
DAVACO's CareDeploy division is seeking a Healthcare Deployment Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and successful completion of healthcare equipment deployment projects nationwide.
This role serves as the primary point of contact between medical device manufacturers, healthcare facilities, logistics providers, installation teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure equipment is delivered, installed, and operational on time and within scope.
The ideal candidate has experience managing healthcare deployments, medical equipment installations, healthcare logistics, supply chain operations, final-mile delivery programs, facility activations, or multi-site healthcare rollouts.
This position combines project management, healthcare operations, logistics coordination, vendor management, and customer relationship management in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
§ Manage healthcare deployment projects from kickoff through completion.
§ Develop project schedules, deployment plans, milestones, and communication strategies.
§ Coordinate activities between manufacturers, warehouses, transportation providers, healthcare facilities, and installation teams.
§ Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
§ Provide regular project updates to clients and internal leadership.
Healthcare Logistics & Deployment
§ Coordinate warehousing, inventory allocation, shipment scheduling, and final-mile delivery activities.
§ Ensure equipment arrives at the correct healthcare facility, department, or patient care area.
§ Track equipment movement and maintain deployment visibility throughout the project lifecycle.
§ Coordinate equipment staging, delivery, installation, and deployment schedules.
Installation & Operational Readiness
§ Partner with installation teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful deployment.
§ Verify site readiness prior to equipment delivery and installation.
§ Coordinate issue resolution related to deliveries, installations, inventory discrepancies, or site constraints.
§ Support facility activation and go-live activities.
Client & Stakeholder Management
§ Serve as the primary project contact for healthcare systems, hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, and medical device manufacturers.
§ Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
§ Build strong working relationships with healthcare facility leadership, facilities teams, procurement, supply chain, and operations stakeholders.
Vendor & Contractor Management
§ Coordinate third-party logistics providers, installers, subcontractors, and equipment vendors.
§ Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
§ Escalate and resolve issues impacting project execution.
Required Qualifications
§ 5+ years of project management experience.
§ Experience supporting healthcare facilities, healthcare operations, medical equipment deployments, healthcare logistics, or healthcare implementation projects.
§ Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
§ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
§ Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, or field teams.
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and reporting tools.
§ Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
§ Healthcare equipment deployment experience.
§ Medical device industry experience.
§ Healthcare logistics or supply chain experience.
§ Final-mile delivery or installation management experience.
§ Hospital activation or operational readiness experience.
§ PMP certification preferred but not required.
§ Experience supporting multi-site healthcare rollouts.
Success in This Role
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to coordinate complex healthcare deployment projects involving warehousing, logistics, transportation, installation, operational readiness, and stakeholder management while ensuring healthcare facilities receive equipment on time, fully installed, and ready for use.
