Project Manager - IT/Infrastructure
Essential Duties Include:
- Coordinate project team and extended internal resources
- Navigate across departments, interfacing with sales, account management, procurement, first-, second-, and third-level support
- Represent technical project team to client
- Coordinate vendors and telecommunications careers and ISPs
- Create and maintain scope documentation, work break down structures, and schedules
- Perform risk management
- Assist with customer onboarding and service definition
Qualifications and Experience
- High-level understanding of IT infrastructure; ie, Client Server and web-based communications and operations, virtualizations, SANs, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, VPN, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced skill with Microsoft Project
- Project management in a technical environment; PMP certification preferred
- Server and network administration and engineering experience (preferred)
- Understanding of ITIL and service management (preferred)
- Experience in a consulting, outsourcing and/or managed service environment
