Programme Overview<\/b>\u202f<\/span>
<\/p>

Peepul is\nactively engaged in a FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) focused\nDevelopment Impact Bond (DIB), which spans a 5\-year period and covers four\nzones within the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The project commenced\nwith a learning year (Academic Year 2022\-23), followed by four years of\noutcome\-based funding (Academic Year 2023\-24 onwards). The project entails the\nsystematic implementation of academic, governance, and technology reforms\ntargeted at bolstering assessments in the Central and West zones.<\/span>

Over these\nfive years, Peepul will build the systemic understanding and competency in\nimplementing high\-quality student\-learning focused assessments. This will be\ndone by reviewing existing practices, co\-creating Standard Operating Protocols\nfor conducting high\-quality assessments, conducting training for teachers &\nofficials, etc.<\/span>

About the role<\/b>\u202f<\/span>
<\/p>

The Project\nManager\- Development Impact Bond will be responsible for designing,\nimplementing, and evaluating<\/b> professional development and capacity\nbuilding programs<\/b> for teachers, HMs, and government officials.<\/span>
<\/p>

The\nsuccessful candidate will have strong instructional design skills, excellent\ncommunication and leadership abilities,<\/b> and a passion for helping teachers\ngrow and develop in their profession. The Project Manager will be an excellent\nteam player who will independently lead and drive design and delivery of\ninterventions towards support and accountability of teachers, HMs, and academic\nofficials of the MCD.<\/span>

The ideal\ncandidate should be able to bring together education expertise, creative\nproblem\-solving and stakeholder management,<\/b> towards the creation,\nimplementation, and impact tracking of high\-quality initiatives towards\nimprovement of the quality of education in the MCD.<\/span>

Responsibilities would include (but not limited to):<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Leading\n the design and delivery of the high\-quality training content<\/b> for\n both teachers and school leaders
    <\/li><\/ul>
    • Designing,\n piloting and developing the teacher training and support interventions<\/b> (e.g., Professional Learning Circles, Recognition mechanisms, remedial\n learning, creating digital or face\-to face training courses for teachers\n and HMs etc.) with specific reference to assessment\-based instruction in\n collaboration with government counterparts
      <\/li><\/ul>
      • Apply content\n knowledge and classroom experience<\/b> in developing teacher training\n interventions that will lead to shifts in teacher mindset, knowledge, and\n practice
        <\/li><\/ul>
        • Leading\n the pilot of interventions, documenting learnings, and evolving the\n design<\/b> with<\/b> innovation and flexibility<\/b> to have greater\n impact at scale
          <\/li><\/ul>
          • Potentially manage 2\-3 associates and coach them on facilitation <\/b>and other\n workstream related skills
            <\/li><\/ul>
            • Develop\n and maintain relationships with external partners, including consultants\n and educational organizations, to stay up to date on best practices in\n professional development
              <\/li><\/ul>
              • Create\n effective work planning systems to ensure the project is on track with\n effective prioritization.

                • Work\n with in\-house Monitoring and Evaluation team and external experts to\n develop appropriate project evaluation tools to capture data and inform\n decision making

                    • Work\n Experience: <\/b>We value both professional and personal experience.\n Candidates with at least 5 years of experience in designing and\n implementing professional development programs for teachers with at least\n 2 years of direct classroom experience would be preferred. Experience of\n working in government systems and awareness of education structures in\n India is also desirable.

                      • Other\n Skills<\/b>: Excellent facilitation & leadership skills to support and\n influence stakeholders and ability to work independently and\n collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals.
