Project Manager HV Norway
We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to be a key player in the Energy Transition. Are you motivated by making the world greener and doing this in a safe way?
In the role of Project Manager, you manage multiple contracts for large and/or complex projects. You are involved in all phases of the project and contract.
In the preliminary phase of the project, you have to setup the structure for the project. You are part of the quotation team that is led by the business manager and are involved in negotiations with clients and advise on contractual conditions, preventing and limiting risks, liabilities and the desired form and content of the contracts and subcontracts to be concluded. You highlight risks in the preliminary phase and make a realistic plan (budget, time and quality) based on this.
Key responsibilities include reporting project progress to internal and external stakeholders, conducting risk analysis, coordinating project goals with the team, supporting project bidding and project engineering, and forming the project team.
If the quotation is successful and results in a purchase order, then the complete responsibility of the assignment is transferred to the Project Manager. You are then responsible for informing and directing the production departments, having the necessary engineering carried out, the purchase- and change orders, the actual execution (under the direction of a site manager and his installation team) and the safety during the execution. You prepare the project plan, provide the necessary internal and external resources and direct the progress. You keep a tight control on the planning and finances. You also verify the work to be carried out against the contract, identify deviations and carefully coordinate these deviations with the client.
You are responsible for achieving the agreed project objectives such as delivery times, billing schedules, project margins and customer satisfaction. You ensure that not only the client but also the internal organization is correctly informed about the progress of the project.
Requirements
You have experience in managing multiple complex projects at the same time, you oversee projects from beginning to end, and have experience with project management tools supplemented by a course in this area (such as PRINCE2 or IPMA). Experience with Safety Culture Ladder is a plus.
Identifying and assessing risks in a project and determining control measures (risk management) is familiar territory for you. In addition, you have good writing skills, have experience with contract management; assessing contracts, monitoring the agreed contract agreements and terminating contracts. You are able to study applications/tender documents for contractual and delivery technical aspects and consult with internal parties and suppliers regarding feasibility.
Previous experience in project management and coordination is mandatory.
Experience in the construction industry and knowledge of construction processes is a benefit.
Previous experience with contract management
Familiarity with risk management
We value a relevant degree, for example in business administration or technical fields.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Fluency in both Norwegian and English, both written and verbal. Dutch would be a benefit.
Our selection process:
1) Application, 2) HR interview, 3) Hiring Manager interviews and 4) Online assessment (depending on manager preference)
