Project Manager, Officer
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Project Manager to manage client-driven change projects. The role is suited to candidates with experience in managing projects, coordinating deliverables, or supporting client-facing initiatives within a professional or financial services environment. The Project Manager is responsible for delivering agreed objectives within scope, timelines and budget, while ensuring alignment with established specifications, schedules, governance standards and internal project management methodologies. Depending on the assignment, the role may support fund lifecycle events, system changes, regulatory initiatives, process improvements, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain project momentum and effective communication.
Your new role
As a Project Manager, Officer you will
Manage all key project areas, including scope, schedule, risks, issues and mitigation actions
Lead workstream engagement, work planning, scoping and budget development in line with the engagement strategy and agreed deliverables
Manage communication and relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Clients and Sponsors
Host and facilitate client-facing online meetings, including project status updates, working sessions and issue-resolution discussions
Prioritize and manage time effectively to support multiple projects and tasks in parallel
Ensure adherence to State Street’s internal project management methodologies, standards and audit/compliance requirements
Provide project reporting in line with stakeholder needs and agreed governance requirements
Collaborate with other PMO team members on local PMO processes
What we value
Desired previous experience and qualifications
Proven experience managing projects, coordinating deliverables, or supporting client-facing initiatives within a professional or financial services environment is required; experience in the funds industry will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of the financial services and/or funds industry will be considered a significant advantage
A degree in business-related studies will be considered an advantage
Skills and competencies needed to succeed in the role
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging directly with external clients and stakeholders, including leading online project meetings
Strong analytical and project team coordination skills, with the ability to support teams working to tight deadlines
Fluent English is required
Ability to work independently, manage own workload effectively and maintain momentum across multiple priorities
Ownership mindset and proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to drive discussions, challenge constructively and follow matters through to completion
Advanced PC literacy, including MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Collaborate and SharePoint
Work organization requirement
Hybrid work from Gdansk/Krakow office: 3 days of office work per week
Minimum Salary:
zł132,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
