<\/p>Working\nwithin the Delivery team, we are looking for a proven project manager to drive\nsuccess across virtual teams within a dynamic and exciting environment.\nOpportunity to contribute through the pre\-project lifecycle before taking\nsubsequent ownership of customer delivery projects, typically overseeing\nproject schedules, performance and budgets to ensure goal attainment. Project\nmanagement skills, as well as technical skills are key; as a strong technical\nbackground is often required to manage competing interests. Projects are\ntypically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to achieve\ncustomer satisfaction through realization of business benefits.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Key\nResponsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Oversee all data preparation and collection for the project.\n This would include all project documentation.<\/span><\/a>
<\/li>- Utilize Project Leading\n management methodology and activities in the development and execution of\n project plans, schedules, budgets, control points, risk assessment and\n monitoring, resource allocation and status reporting.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Responsible for day\-to\-day\n scope management, including meetings, status coordination, schedule and\n project plan, and project financials.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Foster a strategic image of\n company capability.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Inform management of any\n deviations from set schedule, scope and budget, with suggestions on how to\n bring the project back on track.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Multi\-task across all projects\n related activities and multiple projects.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Actively participating in\n solution design, testing, and training.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Identify appropriate resource\n needs, assigning project responsibilities.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Comply with Solution Delivery\n and corporate policies/procedures implemented by Ontec.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Protect Ontec and customer\n information assets to safeguard confidentiality, integrity, and\n availability.<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>- Ability to interact with\n various stakeholders, such as sales, systems engineering, service\n provider, product development, and other members of cross\-functional\n teams.<\/span><\/span>

<\/p>\u2022\tThis position requires a minimum of 7years project management experience.
<\/div>
\u2022\tTertiary qualification is essential.
<\/div>
\u2022\tProfessional membership (PMP, PMI certification) is required.
<\/div>
\u2022\tWorking knowledge of MS Projects is required.
<\/div>
\u2022\tEffective communications and collaboration skills.
<\/div>
\u2022\tWillingness to travel (nationally and/or internationally)
<\/div>
\u2022\tExperience within the utility industry (advantageous)
<\/div>
\u2022\tExposure to software projects and working internationally (advantageous) are both considered a distinct advantage
