Project Manager-Orphans Sponsorship Program

Job Purpose:<\/b>

<\/div>
The Project Manager \u2013 Orphans Sponsorship Program will lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation\u2019s orphan sponsorship initiatives in Nigeria and abroad. The role is responsible for ensuring that orphaned and vulnerable children supported by AAF receive holistic assistance\u2014particularly in education, healthcare, feeding, clothing, child protection and basic welfare\u2014while ensuring accountability, transparency, and measurable impact in line with the Foundation\u2019s mission of supporting the less privileged.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES <\/b>

<\/div>
\u2022 Design and manage the implementation of Orphans Sponsorship Program activities in line with AAF Mission and Vision.
<\/div>
\u2022 Develop annual work plans, budgets, and activity schedules for the program.
<\/div>
\u2022 Maintain accurate records of all sponsored orphans and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
<\/div>
\u2022 Coordinate with institutions and relevant government agencies.
<\/div>
\u2022 Ensure compliance of laws and regulations relating to children rights as prescribed in the constitution. Monitoring & Evaluation
<\/div>
\u2022 Develop and apply tools to monitor performance of orphanage homes and program impact.
<\/div>
\u2022 Regularly collect, analyse, and report data on orphanage homes sponsored by AAF.
<\/div>
\u2022 Conduct field visits of orphanage homes and beneficiary feedback sessions.
<\/div>
\u2022 Prepare quarterly and annual reports for the donor and management. Financial Oversight
<\/div>
\u2022 Work with the finance team to manage the budget for Orphans Sponsorship Program.
<\/div>
\u2022 Supervise the utilization reports shared by orphanages along with AAF Finance.
<\/div>
\u2022 Ensure transparent and accountable use of all funds.
<\/div>
\u2022 Prepare financial forecasts and spending reports for the program.
<\/div>
\u2022 Track expenditures and ensure compliance with AAF financial policies and requirements. Stakeholder Engagement
<\/div>
\u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with orphanage homes, communities, state government and and local authorities.
<\/div>
\u2022 Organize outreach activities to raise awareness about
<\/div>
\u2022 Respond to inquiries and grievances from applicants and beneficiaries. Digital & Media Communication
<\/div>
\u2022 Managing or contributing to social media updates, newsletters, and website content related to the program.
<\/div>
\u2022 Graphical representation of the projects on website and social media channels of AAF.
<\/div>

Requirements<\/h3>
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT<\/b>
<\/div>

<\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree (BA, BSc, or BEd) with at least a Second\-Class Upper Division. A Master\u2019s degree MBA/MSC will be an added advantage.

<\/span>Minimum of 3\-5 years\u2019 experience managing humanitarian programs at national level.<\/span><\/span>Experience in managing international and indigenous Orphans<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span>Sponsorship programs will be an added advantage.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accountability.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span>Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span>Good communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span>Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Nigeria.
