Working closely\nwith the state bureaucratic leadership, Peepul has played a meaningful role in\nstrengthening the education system of the state.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>The partnership has been a successful one \u2013 with\nnational and international recognition of the work. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

The PM SHRI (Prime\nMinister Schools for Rising India) programme is a flagship initiative of the\nGovernment of India to create model government schools that embody the spirit\nof the National Education Policy 2020\u2014focusing on joyful learning, holistic\ndevelopment, and excellence in teaching and leadership.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

In Madhya Pradesh,\nPeepul partners with the Department of School Education (DPI) to strengthen the\nimplementation of the PM SHRI programme across 799 schools, building capacities\nof school leaders and teachers, improving school processes, and enabling\ndata\-driven decision\-making at every level.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

About the role<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
The <\/span><\/span>Program Manager\n\u2013 Implementation<\/span><\/span><\/b> will lead Peepul\u2019s field\-based implementation efforts\nunder the PM SHRI Programme across multiple districts in Madhya Pradesh. This\nis a critical leadership role that involves building strong relationships with\ndistrict and block officials, guiding the implementation team (Senior Project\nAssociates and Project Associates), and ensuring that high\-quality academic and\nleadership interventions are effectively delivered in schools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
The role combines <\/span><\/span>academic\nvision, operational excellence, and people leadership<\/span><\/span><\/b>. The Program Manager\nwill play a pivotal role in ensuring that Peepul\u2019s interventions reach schools\nwith quality and consistency, generating insights for scale\-up across the\nstate.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

To lead project design,\npiloting, and implementation of interventions:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
Lead implementation across assigned divisions and\ndistricts, coordinating with government officials, Peepul teams, and school\nnetworks.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Support the design, piloting, and roll\-out of academic\nand leadership interventions such as <\/span><\/span>Professional Learning Communities,\nAcademic Samwaad, capacity\-building workshops, and mentoring mechanisms<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Ensure coherence between school\-level processes and\nprogramme objectives related to teacher support, school culture, and student\nlearning.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Translate state\-level strategies into actionable\ndistrict implementation plans with clear milestones.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Create effective work planning, progress tracking, and\nreporting systems for district teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Conduct <\/span><\/span>school visits<\/span><\/span><\/b> regularly to provide\non\-site mentoring, observe classroom practices, and facilitate reflection with\nteachers and leaders.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Review data from school visits, CRO journals, and\ndashboards to identify trends and inform planning.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Collaborate with the <\/span><\/span>Monitoring, Evaluation, and\nLearning (MEL)<\/span><\/span><\/b> team to design and review tools and frameworks for field\ntracking and evidence generation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Document case studies, best practices, and field\nlearnings for dissemination and continuous improvement.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

To be a strong team\ncollaborator and engage with key stakeholders:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

Build and sustain strong operational relationships\nwith <\/span><\/span>District Education Officers (DEOs), DPCs, ADPCs, and BEOs<\/span><\/span><\/b> to ensure\nalignment and ownership.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Collaborate with <\/span><\/span>Content, PMU, and MEL<\/span><\/span><\/b> workstreams to ensure coherence between design, delivery, and monitoring.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Represent Peepul and the PM SHRI Programme in\ngovernment review meetings and external forums as required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Educational Background: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>Postgraduate degree in Education, English, Hindi or\nMaths, or related field.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

4\u20137 years of relevant experience in education system\nstrengthening, programme implementation, or large\-scale reform projects.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Prior experience leading field teams and working with\ngovernment education departments preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Experience in classroom teaching, school leadership,\nor teacher training will be an advantage.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
