The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering key initiatives within Ramsay’s workforce optimisation program, while coordinating dependencies across related workstreams.

You will work across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups to support successful delivery of initiatives, including:

  • Oversight and integration of the Roster, Scheduling and Time & Attendance (RoSTA) implementation workstream, led by a dedicated project team and project manager
  • Enhancement of rostering practices and the design of a new roster operating model
  • Agency workforce reduction initiatives
  • Talent, career pathway and capability development programs
  • Development of strategic workforce analytics to support data‑driven decision‑making

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and delivery of assigned workforce optimisation initiatives, ensuring milestones, deliverables and timelines are achieved.
  • Coordinate dependencies across related workstreams, including initiatives led by other project teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reporting, risks, issues and action registers.
  • Support governance processes through preparation of project updates, papers, reporting and escalation of key issues.
  • Work with stakeholders to support implementation, change readiness and adoption of project outcomes.
  • Track project outcomes, implementation progress and agreed success measures.
  • Build effective working relationships with operational, clinical and corporate stakeholders across multiple sites.

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in project management supporting a People team, ideally within large and complex organisations
  • Experience delivering business improvement, workforce, operational or technology-related projects
  • Strong project planning and delivery capability, including management of timelines, risks, issues, dependencies and reporting
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across operational and corporate teams
  • Experience supporting implementation and change adoption in multi-site environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in healthcare, workforce management, rostering or operational environments will be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2 or similar

Desirable

  • Experience with digital transformation, automation, or AI in workforce management.
  • Familiarity with workforce management (WFM), human capital management (HCM), and time & attendance systems.
  • Exposure to workforce improvement or optimisation initiatives
  • Experience supporting training, capability uplift or adoption activities
