About the role

  • Define project scope — Establish and oversee project scope and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility for large, complex initiatives. Confirm that all commitments are realistic and achievable.
  • Develop project plans — Create, maintain, and adapt detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones aligned with organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Organize tasks and resources — Coordinate project tasks and allocate resources to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Implement governance — Establish and maintain project governance structures that align with organizational policies and standards, adapting them to project needs.
  • Manage change control — Oversee changes to scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate change‑control processes and tools.
  • Analyze project data — Collect, rationalize, and analyze multiple data points to support decision‑making and improve project performance.
  • Manage project financials — Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure quality assurance — Develop and maintain QA processes to ensure deliverables meet required standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage risks and issues — Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues across significant or complex projects, maintaining a risk register and issue log.
  • Engage stakeholders — Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Realize project benefits — Define, manage, and track project benefits to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and customer needs.
  • Oversee project handover — Ensure smooth transition to operations, including training and support documentation.
  • Review PM performance — Conduct performance reviews for project managers reporting directly to the senior PM.
  • Provide resource feedback — Give performance feedback to line managers for all project team members.
  • Support performance improvement — Collaborate with line managers to develop performance improvement plans when required.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, management or engineering.
  • Professional Project Management and Agile certification (e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master)
  • 8 years+ experience in project management
  • Proven track record in managing significant projects from initiation to completion
  • Language skills – Fluent English required, both spoken and written

  • Strong negotiation, and relationship-building skills with proven track record in developing/hosting external and internal relationships.
  • Good knowledge of different working cultures and able to adapt to cross-cultural attitudes and norms.
  • Results orientation, with a “can do” attitude and problem-solving approach.
  • Strong sense of urgency and an ability to think outside the box and drive action.
  • An emphasis on gathering, tracking and analysing key project performance metrics to spot trends and continuously improve performance.
