Project Manager, Technology & Data Solutions, MAIR

Role Summary

A Project Manager leads mid-scale projects, typically working with two development teams focused on technology solutions delivery within Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent Region (MAIR). The role focuses on helping teams deliver business outcomes by improving flow, speed, and quality, while building foundational project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Communication & Facilitation

  • Clearly communicates project context, progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Facilitates collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle (from Intake to Deployment), resolving ambiguity, and keeping documentation transparent and accessible.

Leadership & Change management

  • Takes ownership of project outcomes and supports structured decision-making and execution.
  • Builds capability to guide teams through change, with support from the Leadership team.
  • Encourages accountability, clarity, and shared ownership across the team.

Measurement & Metrics

  • Captures and reports project metrics consistently to improve team performance and stakeholder visibility.
  • Learns to use available tools, including AI, to track progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Builds capability to analyze trends and use data for continuous improvement.

Technical Expectations

  • Contributes to Technology and Data Solutions work and supports prioritization.
  • Execute well-defined discovery tasks, record the technical requirements, prepare for scope sign-off.
  • Supports software deployments and document solutions as per standards defined.

Customer Service & Business Impact

  • Understands who the project customers are and creates project artifacts.
  • Monitors Intake process, responds openly and promptly to questions, ensuring timely, relevant communication that builds trust and maintains alignment.

Qualification, Experience and General Expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business analysis, technology delivery, or a related role supporting software, data, or digital solutions.
  • Foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle, including intake, requirements gathering, prioritization, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with development teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to clarify scope, track progress, manage dependencies, and communicate risks or issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear project updates, meeting notes, decision logs, and stakeholder-facing documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar delivery practices, with willingness to support continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable using project tracking, collaboration, and productivity tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to capture project metrics, identify trends, summarize risks, and use data to support timely decisions.
  • Customer-service orientation, accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work through ambiguity with guidance from senior team members.
