Project Manager
Yandex is looking for a Project Manager to develop and implement an end-to-end project management process in our Autonomous Vehicles business unit. You will collaborate with our RnD team to develop an automotive robotic platform, convey our requirements to the Tier 1 Partner and help our team formulate them so they are clear for the Partner. Additionally, you will manage the DFC/DFM/DFQ analysis on our Tier 1 Partner side according to our requirements and support the acceptance of development outputs, including design documents, test reports, and firmware. Stakeholder and ODM/JDM management
You will lead supply planning meetings and hold partners accountable, negotiatе cost improvements and ensurе process compliance. You will also resolve cross-functional material-related issues with R&D and project teams and oversee the establishment of the supply chain for the new product at the Tier 1 Partner’s end. Risk management and solution engineering
You will identify risks early (material availability, EOL, lead times) and develop mitigation strategies and scenario planning. You will also manage supply disruptions and escalation processes, and report strategic risk impacts to senior leadership.* Have 5+ years experience in hardware and software design for automotive vehicles or robotics * Posses a solid understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262), AUTOSAR MCAL, Adaptive AUTOSAR * Understand the full product lifecycle, from NPI to mass production * Are familiar with the automotive or robotics industry, including its structure and operational modes, and excel in collaboration * Have experience in ensuring manufacturing quality at scale (preferred) * Understand market pricing for key electronic components * Have experience working with ODM/JDM ecosystems * Have effective communication skills that ensure seamless support for our team and contractors * Are fluent in English (for daily communication with the team) * Are based in Shanghai or Shenzhen
