PROJECT MANGER
Job Responsibilities
- Project Planning & ExecutionTake full charge of end-to-end management of renovation projects from commencement to final handover; coordinate construction schedules, workforce deployment, material delivery and work progress to ensure on-time delivery in line with the signed contract.
- Construction & Quality ControlSupervise on-site workmanship, safety regulations and quality standards; inspect each construction stage against design drawings and contract requirements; identify and rectify non-compliant or substandard work promptly to guarantee overall project quality.
- Cost & Budget ManagementStrictly control project costs; review material consumption, labor hours and work variation orders to avoid unnecessary waste and budget overruns; manage suppliers and construction teams, and process payments in accordance with signed contracts.
- Stakeholder Coordination & CommunicationServe as the key point of contact for clients, designers, procurement teams and construction crews; update project progress regularly and address reasonable client requests; coordinate and resolve issues related to design changes, material supply and on-site matters to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Safety & Site ManagementEnforce on-site construction safety, fire protection and good housekeeping standards; conduct regular safety inspections to prevent unsafe practices and accidents; ensure proper site tidiness and finished product protection.
- Documentation & ReportingOrganize project records, change orders, inspection reports and other relevant documents; submit regular updates on project progress, costs and issues to management; complete full project filing upon completion.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Experience
- High school diploma or above, with at least 3 years of on-site management experience in the renovation or interior construction industry; experience covering the full cycle of residential or commercial renovation is preferred.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as Construction Supervisor Certificate, Safety Officer Certificate or Constructor Qualification Certificate is an advantage.
- Professional Knowledge
- Proficient in renovation construction techniques, material properties, and standards for electrical/plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting and installation works; familiar with national and local renovation construction and acceptance regulations.
- Knowledgeable about renovation budgeting, quotation structure, contract terms and relevant industry laws and regulations.
- Core Competencies
- Strong planning and organizational skills, problem-solving abilities and resilience under pressure; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling unexpected situations effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong service mindset and negotiation ability to resolve client concerns and cross-party conflicts professionally.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and renderings; basic proficiency in CAD, Excel and Word is preferred.
- Highly responsible, principled and detail-oriented with strong cost awareness and the ability to strictly follow company policies and procedures.
- Other Requirements
Willing to work on-site as needed; flexible to work overtime or stay on-site for project supervision when required.
