Project Officer - Raptor Conservation Programme (M.P. & Karnataka)

Terms of Reference for position:<\/span><\/b> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Undertake raptor research\nand conservation activities to assess the status, distribution, habitat use,\nprey availability, and factors affecting the long\-term survival of raptor\npopulations. Lead ecological surveys, manage and analyse ecological datasets\nusing appropriate statistical tools (including R software), and contribute to\nscientific reporting and knowledge generation.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure timely implementation\nof project activities and delivery of outputs in accordance with approved work\nplans, timelines, and project objectives.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate with various\nGovernment departments, community groups, academic institutions, and other stakeholders\nfor effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of project\nactivities.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and work with\npartners and stakeholders to promote evidence\-based raptor conservation and\nstrengthen collaborative conservation initiatives across landscapes.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify practical solutions\nfor raptor conservation based on field research, ecological assessments, data\nanalysis, and consultations with key stakeholders.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate with supervisors\nand the Communication Team at WWF\-India Secretariat for documenting and\ndisseminating project progress, research findings, lessons learned, and\nconservation success stories.<\/span> · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Represent WWF\-India at\nrelevant forums, workshops, meetings, and conferences, and build strategic\npartnerships and networks with key institutions and stakeholders in the\nconservation sector.<\/span>
