What You’ll Do
Strategic Project Procurement Leadership
- Lead all procurement activities for global New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept phase through serial production.
- Manage complex sourcing projects with responsibility for cost, quality, delivery performance and risk management.
- Support product industrialisation and ensure procurement readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate multiple international projects simultaneously within a matrix organisation.
Supplier & Supply Chain Management
- Develop and implement sourcing, supplier and commodity strategies.
- Lead supplier selection processes, RFQs and commercial negotiations.
- Build resilient and sustainable supply chains for critical components.
- Manage supplier performance, development initiatives and risk mitigation activities.
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Logistics, Finance and Legal teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to project teams and senior leadership.
- Provide project reporting, business updates and procurement insights to management.
- Drive decision-making through data analysis, business cases and risk assessments.
Continuous Improvement
- Improve procurement processes, tools and best practices.
- Support governance, compliance and procurement standards.
- Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Experience
- Significant 7+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Project Procurement, Supply Chain or Sourcing leadership roles.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialisation or large-scale manufacturing projects.
- Strong project management capabilities within complex international organisations.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
- Experience leading supplier negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- German language skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Experience within MedTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of SAP systems and procurement tools.
- Experience working in global matrix organisations.
