Project Schedule Lead IFF (all genders)

As IFF Project Schedule Lead within our Manufacturing & Supply InsuLINK program, you'll own the full project schedule for one of Sanofi's most ambitious capital investments — a €2Bn state-of-the-art insulin manufacturing facility in Frankfurt, Germany. You'll set the scheduling strategy, drive progress monitoring, and keep a large, complex multi-year program on track from engineering through to commissioning and validation. This role requires routine on-site presence in Frankfurt during construction and CQV phases. Ready to get started?

Main responsibilities:

  • Build and own the master project schedule in Primavera P6 — defining objectives, setting margin strategy, integrating sub-project schedules, and structuring the project using functional breakdown and internal best practices
  • Develop detailed scheduling in close collaboration with project teams, including activity sequencing, resource estimating, and duration estimating, to keep stakeholders informed on short, medium (3-week look-ahead), and long-term actions
  • Drive schedule control throughout engineering, execution, and validation phases by measuring physical and hourly progress, tracking milestones, and monitoring schedule performance indices (SPI)
  • Identify and manage deviations from baseline proactively — analyzing schedule impacts, alerting the project manager, proposing corrective actions, and following through on resolution
  • Ensure compliance with project change management procedures, supporting the project manager in scope changes and integrating associated impacts into the schedule
  • Produce regular schedule reports — including dashboards, progress curves, and performance indices (PO tracking, deliveries, SPI) — on a weekly and monthly basis for project and leadership audiences
  • Lead schedule workshops and update meetings, using cloud-based collaboration platforms (including Loadspring) to align Engineering, Construction, CQV, and Procurement teams on a common, up-to-date schedule

About you

  • Education/Experience: MSc/Diplome in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification with familiarity in pharma, biotech, or chemical industry environments; extensive background in project scheduling and control on large, complex capital projects of €1Bn+ scale preferred
  • Soft and technical skills: Advanced Primavera P6 expertise (schedule creation, baseline management, critical path analysis, resource loading); strong command of earned value management (SPI), progress measurement, variance analysis, and recovery planning; experience with cloud collaboration platforms such as Loadspring is a strong plus; Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex schedule data into clear narratives; proactive risk manager who identifies deviations early and drives corrective action; skilled at influencing and gaining buy-in across diverse stakeholder groups (A/E, CM, Sanofi teams) without direct authority; highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and resilient in dynamic project environments
  • Languages: fluency in english required; German is advantageous; additional languages welcome
