Job Summary:
Monitors schedule performance, identifies trends, and recommends improvements to enhance forecasting and cost tracking, while collaborating with project teams to evaluate schedules, track deviations, and provide timely reporting for informed decision-making.Job Description:
Develops and maintains integrated master schedules, performing advanced schedule diagnostics, logic validation, and risk-based scenarios analysis to ensure alignment schedule performance, and program-level objectives.
Reviews planned work against actual weekly completions, identifies reasons for variances, coordinates reschedule dates, aligns with cross‑functional project teams, and tracks completion status across execution groups to maintain schedule accuracy and accountability.
Analyzes schedule trends, critical path drivers, and logic integrity to identify risks and recommend actions that strengthen forecasting accuracy, schedule performance, and overall project cost awareness.
Conducts integrated schedule variance assessments to forecast potential impacts and support proactive, data‑driven decision‑making

Collaborates with Project Managers, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to validate progress and assumptions, improving schedule reliability and on‑time delivery.
Develops and maintains dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to support executive reporting and program visibility.
Ensures compliance with internal standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements while strengthening schedule data integrity and quality across programs.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and supports implementation to enhance scheduling practices, strengthening data integrity, standardization, and lifecycle quality.
Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
Additional Job Description:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field from an accredited university.
Experience
3 years of experience in scheduling, project controls, or project management, preferably in regulated environments and capital infrastructure projects.
Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling.
Experienced with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), task durations, and work estimation.
Competencies (Skills)
Proven experience in project scheduling and management, with advanced proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and Power BI.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, forecasting methodologies, and core project management principles, including scope, schedule, and cost integration.
Highly organized with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced, multi‑project or portfolio environments
High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience in utility, infrastructure, or capital programs, with preferred familiarity in FEMA or federally funded project requirements.
Strong analytical skills, including schedule and cost analysis, progress evaluation, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
