The Integration & Solutions (I&S) Project Sourcing Leader drives Sourcing activities for I&S Projects, establishing contracts with key suppliers and strategic partners in the region, improving Baker Hughes competitive position in competitive tender for Integrated Projects.

Manage contract and supplier relationship during the lifecycle of the project.

As a Project Sourcing Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Ownership of creating & executing optimum sourcing strategy feed into tenders and the business.
  • Support ITO (inquiry to order) with qualified supplier selection, competitive quoting and award justification.
  • Ensuring high cost confidence with correct and accurate costs in tender submission.
  • Leading supplier engagement workshops & qualifications.
  • Identifying and developing risk mitigation plan and opportunities with action owners and ensure closure of plan.
  • Driving the established optimized sourcing strategy of volume leverage and advance release linked to the BOP.
  • Driving and achieving cost out initiatives and lead time optimization.
  • Delivering handover to the execution team on contract award ensuring validity of strategy.
  • Implementation of strategic agreements.
  • Supplier performance reviews

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Possess considerable experience within sourcing/ procurement in a technical setting, with good project management skills.
  • Have minimum 5 years’ experience in Sourcing or Sales and Commercial for large projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to negotiate commercial aspects with suppliers and the ability to build and manage supplier relationships and long-term partnerships.
  • Have proven analytical skills and be comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data
  • Possess professional relationship building skills and ability to interface across the entire enterprise
  • Be able to communicate fluently in English.
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
