Projects II
Supports resort operations by executing advanced project-driven maintenance tasks across multiple trade disciplines. This role requires increased technical acumen to independently perform complex maintenance and renovation projects, complete preventive maintenance, and manage work orders with minimal supervision
As Projects II, you will:
- Lead engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes and preventative maintenance as instructed by resort leadership
- Install and repairs interior & exterior walls, coverings and ceilings including framing, painting, and caulking
- Install and replace tile & grout, vinyl and carpet as applicable
- Experience in performing plumbing troubleshooting, repairs and replacement of fixtures and piping
- Experience in troubleshooting, replacing, and repairing electrical components such as circuits and disconnects
- Experienced in installing, troubleshooting and repairing household appliances and fixtures
- Experienced in HVAC systems with ability to install and perform preventive maintenance & troubleshooting
- Actively participate in procurement and inventory process to ensure materials and tools are on-site for work
- Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications
- Perform custodial and maintenance duties, as required by resort leadership
- Recognize and identify potential safety or security hazards in the property
- Communicate and interpret guest needs by positively interacting towards resolutions
- Must comply with all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures
- Must represent Westgate Resorts in a professional manner through appearance, dress, and professional behavior
- Other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership

- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on trade & maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment
- Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools, electrical & battery powered tools required by the job
- Ability to work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts utilizing appropriate PPE
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company golf carts
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
