Property Management Specialist

Prime Response Inc. (PRI), is seeking a full\-time Property Management Specialist<\/i><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/i>for a long\-term government contract located in Washington, DC. This position is onsite 5 days per week with the potential to work remotely when granted by the customer (typically for snow days). Onsite parking is currently provided, but could change based on the needs of the civilian agency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Property Management\nSpecialist is responsible for managing government property and inventory in\naccordance with agency and federal regulations. Duties include tracking assets,\nconducting inventories, processing work requests, and supporting field offices.

Will perform duties primarily associated with SCA Labor\nCategory Material Coordinator from the SCA Directory of Occupations 5th\nedition. The Material Coordinator involves verifying material types, tracking\ninventory, and maintaining records using manual or computerized systems.\nAdditionally, you may operate equipment to transport materials and monitor flow\nusing control systems.<\/span><\/span>

Process Work Requests<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Monitor\nPMPROP inbox daily; log requests using a standardized checklist and centralized\ntracker.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Process\nrequests within 3 days via the PM Request Data Spreadsheet and ServiceNow.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform\nasset tagging, reassignment, updates, removals, and furniture coordination.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure\ndocumentation is complete before scheduled moves.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain\nversion\-controlled request logs; respond to routine requests within 48 hours\nand urgent ones within 1 hour using a color\-coded priority system.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Retrieve\nequipment from exiting staff within 24 hours.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>
    Manage Excess Property & Disposal
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>
    • Coordinate\nlabor for excess property pickup within 2 days.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Validate\nasset details pre\-pickup; update custody records within 2 days.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Follow\nGSA disposal guidelines; complete actions and documentation within 3 days.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Archive\ndisposal files for audit readiness; maintain visibility of pending actions.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Support with dashboards and reports on aging inventory and deadlines.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
      Inventory Management
      <\/span><\/span><\/div>
      • Conduct\ndirected physical inventories and annual reconciliations.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Compare\nfindings with system records (MS Access/ServiceNow); flag and report\ndiscrepancies.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Maintain\nlogs of recurring anomalies to identify systemic issues.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Support\nprocess improvements and reporting enhancements.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
        Field Office Property Support
        <\/span><\/span><\/div>
        • Send\nmonthly/quarterly emails to field offices with response forms to assess needs.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Tag\nand track equipment shipments; maintain timestamped tracking sheets.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Provide\nstatus updates and summary reports; anticipate recurring needs to streamline\nlogistics.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Requirements<\/h3>
          • Must have inventory experience.
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Must have at least three (3) years\u2019\nexperience in inventory and property management and relevant education and\ncertifications as determined by the COR.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Proficient with government property management\nregulations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Must possess three (3) or more years\nof experience conducting physical inventories and reconciliations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Must have excellent communication\nskills verbally and in writing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Must be physically able to walk for\nlong periods of time, lift equipment weighing up to 50lbs, bend, and stoop.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Proficient in use of computer,\nbarcode scanner, and printer hardware.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Proficient in use of Microsoft\nAccess, Word, and Excel software.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Ability to utilize Asset\nmanagement software. (Training will be provided)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Ability to use computer carts and\ndollies.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Excellent organizational skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • Ability to work independently.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
