Job Summary
Manage and lead the development of compliant, competitive proposals and presentations by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, timely submissions that align with client requirements and win strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals by collaborating with sales, pricing, solution management, leadership, internal SMEs, and regional teams
- Analyze RFI, RFQ, RFP, and bid documents to identify and interpret requirements for proposal development
- Develop and maintain proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and detailed development plans
- Establish and manage Teams collaboration sites to facilitate proposal team communication and document sharing
- Assign authorship roles in coordination with sales, solutions, and pricing teams, integrating win strategies, themes, and differentiators into proposals
- Provide leadership and guidance to proposal authors to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client needs
- Perform rigorous quality assurance reviews on draft and final proposal documents to ensure high-quality content and presentation
- Prepare and lead Proposal Kickoff meetings and daily status calls to maintain team alignment and progress tracking
- Conduct proposal reviews and debrief sessions with authors to improve content and process outcomes
- Manage the development and revision of oral presentations and discussions related to proposals
- Coordinate production, reproduction, binding, and packaging activities to finalize proposal submissions
- Document lessons learned from each proposal cycle and implement process improvements for future efficiency
- Collaborate with creative teams or personally enhance the visual impact of tender responses and presentations
- Coordinate with sales leaders, subject matter experts, and marketing to tailor proposals competitively for prospective clients
- Participate in the global Sales Enablement Team to share and adopt best practices in solution development
- Question and probe proposed solutions to refine client offerings and improve proposal effectiveness
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, adapting to diverse working styles and tight deadlines
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, including the ability to complete written tasks during the interview process
- Apply strong editing skills with excellent knowledge of grammar and punctuation to ensure proposal clarity and professionalism
- Exhibit leadership, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills to drive proposal success
