Requirements<\/h3>

\u2022 Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and follow\-up visits<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, behavioral disturbances, and chronic mental illness<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications based on patient needs and treatment response<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to psychiatric, medical, and psychosocial needs<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, therapists, social workers, administrators, and interdisciplinary care teams<\/span>

Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>

\u2022 Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)<\/span>

\u2022 Active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 DEA registration preferred or ability to obtain<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, nursing homes, long\-term care, hospital psychiatry, or outpatient psychiatry preferred<\/span>

\u2022 Experience with geriatric or medically complex populations is a plus<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills<\/span>
